Bigfun is a family-run amusement and party equipment hire business based in Tara, QLD. We hire out jumping castles, a mechanical bull, inflatable obstacle courses, giant lawn games and party packages for birthdays, school fetes and corporate events across the Western Downs and Darling Downs. Delivery, setup and pack-down are included with every hire, so you can focus on your event while we look after the equipment.

Jumping Castle Hire
Our jumping castles are a hit at birthdays, school fetes and community events. The Standard castle is Spiderman-themed with a built-in slide, holds up to 8 kids aged 3–12 and needs a 5m x 5m area. For bigger groups, our larger castle fits up to 15 kids aged 3–15 in an 8m x 6m space.

Mechanical Bull Hire
Give your guests something different. Our professional mechanical bull has adjustable speed settings for different ages and skill levels (riders 8+) and comes with a safety mat surround. One rider at a time, with a 6m x 6m safety zone. $1,200 for 3 hours.

Inflatable Obstacle Course Hire
Race head-to-head on our 2-lane inflatable obstacle course with tunnels, pop-ups, climbing walls and a slide finish. Ideal for school fetes, team-building days and big groups. Ages 5+, 20m x 5m footprint. $1,250 for 3 hours.

Add classic carnival fun with inflatable Pinko, inflatable axe throwing, Pluck a Duck, a Giant Games Pack (Connect 4, Jenga, corn toss and more) and our Aboriginal-artwork inflatable footy pass. From $300 for 3 hours.

Walk-In Snow Globe Hire
Step inside a real-life snow globe! Our walk-in snow globe is filled with fake snow that kids (and big kids) can throw up into the air and watch swirl and fall all around them. It's a magical photo moment, and not many hire companies in Queensland offer one. It holds 2–4 people at a time, suits all ages and has a 3m diameter.
It's a showstopper at Christmas events, winter wonderland themes, school fetes, birthday parties and community days. $1,200 for 3 hours, with extra hours at $100 (prices subject to change).

1. What does amusement equipment hire cost?
Prices depend on the item. A standard jumping castle is $400 for 3 hours, a mechanical bull is $1,200 for 3 hours, and our Silver party package is $1,400 for 3 hours. Extra hours are charged per item (for example, $80/hr for jumping castles). See our equipment page for the full range.
2. What is the minimum hire time?
All equipment has a 3-hour minimum hire.
3. Is delivery and setup included?
Yes. We deliver, set up and pack down. A travel fee of $50 applies, plus $120 if your event is more than 60km from Tara 4421.
4. Which areas do you service?
We service the Western Downs and Darling Downs, including [list your main towns].
5. How much space do I need?
It depends on the item. For example, our standard jumping castle needs a 5m x 5m area, the mechanical bull needs a 6m x 6m safety zone, and the obstacle course needs 20m x 5m.
